Bringing iconic brands and products like Pan di Stelle, Baiocchi, Togo, Ringo and Gocciole into the world of ice cream is a challenge in itself. Doing so while staying true to the original brands and without disappointing the core base of loyal consumers is part of this challenge and it’s what we tackled by designing the packaging for these new products.
When working with true lovemarks, the approach must prioritize precision, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand’s guidelines. That’s why, when addressing this packaging design project, we adopted a careful and conservative approach aimed at bringing the same values from the original context into the world of ice cream—a world with its own codes and rules, distinct from that of cookies.
The result is a packaging line that conveys all the indulgence of the original products in the freezer aisle, while simultaneously highlighting the uniqueness and indulgence of these new ice cream versions. Great emphasis is placed on the ice cream and the brand, faithfully reproduced through each brand’s traditional communication codes. At the same time, the focus on ingredients remains particularly meticulous and quality-driven, consistent with the cookies that inspired them.
